§ Mr. Tudor Watkinsasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will state the amount of water which the water undertakers promoting the Clywedog Reservoir Joint Authority Act obtained the agreement of his Department to abstract from the River Severn for each year from 1968 to 1980.
§ Mr. Denis HowellThe undertakers (or their successors) are authorised to abstract water from the river or its tributaries at the maximum rates specified in Schedule 1 to the Act. My right hon. Friend's agreement is not required.
