§ Mr. MulleyThe average age of the Traffic Commissioners is 62; the youngest is 41 and the oldest 75. Under Section 121 of the Road Traffic Act, 1960, the chairmen of commissioners, who hold full-time appointments, are required to vacate office on reaching 70. The other commissioners hold office for periods of up to three years, and their reappointment is at my discretion. I have power to remove a commissioner from office for inability.
