§ Mrs. Gwyneth DunwoodyThe average age of the members is 57. The youngest is 45 and the oldest 67. Paragraph 1 (3) of the Fourth Schedule to the Copyright Act, 1956 provides that the Board of Trade, or, in the case of the chairman of the tribunal, the Lord Chancellor, may declare the office of any member of the tribunal vacant on the ground of his unfitness to continue in office or incapacity to perform the duties thereof. Each member is appointed for a term of three years, and the question of fitness to continue is, of course, considered before a member is invited to serve a further period.
