asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government how many house-purchasers in Cornwall have taken advantage of the option mortgage scheme since its introduction.

I regret that this information is not available. The statistics provided by lenders under the option mortgage scheme when claiming Exchequer payments do not include borrowers' place of residence.
