§ 42. Mr. J. H. Osbornasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will take steps to co-ordinate the work, syllabi, courses, and activities of polytechnics and similar institutions of higher education.
§ Mr. FowlerThere is already a good deal of co-ordination, both through the arrangements for the approval of advanced courses under the Further Education Regulations, 1969, and through the work of the Council for National Academic Awards and other national validating bodies.
