§ 55. Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether, in view of the fact that when he agreed to price increases in chocolate and chocolate-based articles the reason was mainly based on the increase in cocoa prices, he will in the light of the reduction in the price of cocoa now review the price of cocoa-based articles, in accordance with his undertaking to do so, given to the hon. Member for West Ham, North.
§ Mr. HoyNo. Because of forward commitments it will be some time before the reduction in cocoa prices affects manufacturers' costs appreciably. A review would therefore be premature, but we shall watch the situation closely.
