asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government, in view of the delay since the holding of the local inquiry into the Wellingborough Town Development Map, if he is yet in a position to make a statement.

The inspector's report into the public local inquiry at Wellingborough is under consideration in the Department, but I am afraid I cannot yet say when a decision can be expected.
