Mr. Sharples

asked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications if he will give a list of the boards and committees to which he appoints members other than civil servants; and if he will state the number of members serving on each such board or committee.

The eight existing local radio councils are to be re-constituted and a further 12 are to be appointed for the additional 12 local radio stations which I announced on 25th November, 1969.
