Mr. Roy Hughes

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity how many handicapped boys and girls were unemployed in Newport, Monmouthshire, at the latest available date; and how this compares with the figures at equivalent dates over the past five years.

Mr. Dudley Smith

On 13th July, 1970 there was one unemployed registered disabled girl and no boys. The figures for the previous five years are:
