§ Mr. Gorstasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity whether he will give an undertaking that no further references will be made to the National Board for Prices and Incomes pending the conclusion of his consideration of the future of the board.
§ Mr. BryanI would draw the hon. Member's attention to the reply which my right hon. Friend gave yesterday about the future of the Board to the right hon. Member for Blackburn (Mrs. Castle). My right hon. Friend has only lust begun to review the future of the Board in the context of a wider examination covering the Monopolies Commission and other relevant bodies. It is too soon to forecast the outcome of the review or what may need to be done while it is in progress.
