Mr. Geraint Morganasked the Secretary of State for Wales what is his policy on the implementation of proposals for routes for the Colwyn Bay Expressway set out in the Collcon Report; and whether he will specify all such routes which will not be adopted, for the assistance of residents living on or near them.
§ Mr. Peter ThomasWhen I have considered the consulting engineers' report, expected in the spring of next year, I shall publish my proposals for the line of the road in the form of draft Orders under the Highways Act, 1959. There will be opportunity for the public to express views and objections over these proposals. I cannot specify in advance of the report the routes that will not be adopted.
