HC Deb 24 July 1970 vol 804 c275W
Mr. MacArthur

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) when, arising out of his review, he will introduce legislation to amend the law relating to the rating of farm buildings;

(2) if, in view of the anomalous rating position of farmers who breed horses and ponies, he will hasten his consideration of the rating of agricultural subjects.

Mr. Gordon Campbell

I cannot add meanwhile to what was said in replies to my hon. Friend the Member for Galloway (Mr. Brewis) and the hon. Member for West Lothian (Mr. Dalyell) on 6th and 8th July respectively.—[Vol. 803, c. 654,7.]
