§ Mr. Chichester-Clarkasked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many persons are permanently disabled or chronically sick and confined to bed or to their homes; how many of these are mothers or fathers of children of school age; and whether he will obtain separate figures for each of the four countries of the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. AlisonI regret that this information is not at present available; but information about chronically sick and disabled adults living at home in Great Britain, including their distribution in broad geographical areas, should be provided by the report of the current survey, which I hope will be published early in 1971.
