§ Mr. Meacherasked the Minister of State for Defence when he will make a statement about the purchase for the Royal Navy of the gyro-stabilised sights for the directing of missiles, for which negotiations have been proceeding with Ferranti Limited and concerning which representations have already been made to him by the hon. Member for Oldham, West.
§ Mr. KirkI have written to both hon. Members on this subject and have nothing to add to the contents of my letter.
