Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Minister of Transport whether, in view of his policy of considering all means of speeding up traffic and easing road congestion he will introduce legislation to make it illegal for double and treble road parking in roads and streets narrower than 15 feet and to authorise a system of unilateral parking on each side of the road on odd and even dates.

Local traffic authorities are responsible for regulating traffic and parking on such roads.
