asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what agreement he has now made with other European countries in regard to the protection of salmon for the prevention of over fishing.

Both the North-East Atlantic Fisheries Commission and the International Commission for the North-West Atlantic Fisheries have approved measures to prevent escalation of fishing for salmon.
