HC Deb 21 July 1970 vol 804 c64W
46. Mr. Wolrige-Gordon

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he is satisfied that the cost of fertiliser to the British farmer has been pegged following the last Price Review until the Review next year; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Anthony Stodart

My hon. Friend will be aware of the reply I gave to the hon. Member for Cornwall, North (Mr. Pardoe) on 16th July. We are now studying information supplied to us by the National Farmers' Union, but, because claims for fertiliser subsidy can be made up to three months after delivery, I cannot yet go beyond the reply to which I have referred.—[Vol. 803, c.260.]
