§ Mr. HigginsThe official reserves on 30th September, 1964, totalled £907 million. In addition the Treasury dollar portfolio was valued at about £470 million. On 30th June, 1970, the official reserves, into which the dollar portfolio had been taken during the intervening period, totalled £1,163 million.
