Mr. Rhodes

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether the Government accepts Resolution No. 440 on the financial and economic aspects of air transport operations which was adopted by the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe on 18th April, 1970; and what instructions he has given to his representative with the European Civil Aviation Conference with regard to action to be taken on the proposals contained therein.

Mr. Corfield

The resolution requested the European Civil Aviation Conference to study these proposals and to inform the Consultative Assembly of the steps proposed. The United Kingdom representatives were instructed to support this action, and will participate actively in the examination in its standing committees upon which the plenary conference decided.
