HC Deb 16 July 1970 vol 803 cc258-9W
72. Rear-Admiral Morgan-Giles

asked the Attorney-General whether he will refer to the Director of Public Prosecutions the leaflet, advertising pornographic literature published by the Julian Press, which has been sent unsolicited to many constituents.

The Attorney-General

This leaflet was referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions a year ago. As my predecessor informed the House in answering a Question on 21st July, 1969, the Director is of opinion that the leaflet does not offend against the Obscene Publications Acts or against any other legislation.
