§ 56. Mr. David Stoddartasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will maintain the policy regarding the proposed expansion of Swindon.
§ Mr. ChannonLast April the local authorities concerned, Swindon Borough Council, Wiltshire County Council and the Greater London Council, were asked to prepare a joint management scheme to administer the further expansion of Swindon to a population of about 200,000 by 1986. I will consider this in the light of the authorities' proposals.
