HC Deb 14 July 1970 vol 803 cc182-3W
Mr. Geraint Morgan

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what progress has been made by the Welsh Office in its consideration of a bypass express route running outside and to the south of Colwyn Bay as an alternative to the Route C recommended by the Collern Report of 1968.

Mr. Peter Thomas

This is one of the routes being considered by consulting engineers who were appointed in August, 1969, to examine all the possible routes in the "Colleson" Report and any others which appear to them to have merit. I expect to receive the consulting engineers report in the spring of 1971.
