§ Mr. Moneyasked the Minister of State for Defence whether he will re-examine the position of widows of long-service 184W other ranks pensioners of the Armed Forces who retired before 1st September, 1950, and who are not, under the present regulations, granted forces family widows' pensions based on their husbands' service.
§ Lord BalnielThere are considerable financial difficulties in extending entitlement to public service pensions retrospectively, and I cannot, unfortunately, hold out the prospect of retrospective entitlement for these Service widows.
