Telephone Directories (Omissions)

Mr. Biggs-Davison

asked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications (1) if he will give a general direction to the Post Office to compensate firms whose telephone numbers have been omitted from the appropriate directories for the loss of business entailed;

(2) how many complaints have been received by the Post Office of numbers omitted from the current telephone directory; and what compensation has been paid.
