§ Mr. Moneyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many prisoners detained in Her Majesty's Prisons in England and Wales are at the present time being held in removal from association with other prisoners under Rule 43 of Statutory Instrument, 1964, No. 388, other than those convicted of sexual offences or by reason of a request made by a prisoner on his own part.
§ Mr. CarlisleOn 4th July, 1970, there were 91 prisoners who had been removed from association with other prisoners otherwise than at their own request. The number of these who had not been convicted of sexual offences is not readily available.
