asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will introduce legislation to alter the electoral law so as to give postal votes to those absent from their homes on holiday at the time of a General Election.

40. Mr. Tilney

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will introduce legislation to enable electors who are likely to be away on holiday to appoint proxies to vote on their behalf.
