§ Mr. Peter WalkerThe Government are considering what further proposals for local government reorganisation should be put forward. In doing so they would be helped by knowing the views of local authorities on the suggested areas referred to in Circular 21/70. I am writing today to local authorities in England asking those who have already96W formulated their views to let me have them, without commitment, by the end of July or fairly soon after. I am sending my hon. Friend a copy of this further circular.
