HC Deb 08 July 1970 vol 803 c51W
40. Mr. Ian Campbell

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will state the average subsidy paid annually on a low-rise four apartment house and a multi-storey three apartment flat, respectively, completed in Glasgow in 1970 and the corresponding subsidy paid in respect of such houses completed in 1963.

Mr. Younger

Information is not readily available in this form. The average basic subsidy so far determined on all houses completed by Glasgow Corporation in 1969–70 was about £150, with an additional £30 for houses in multi-storey blocks. The corresponding figure for 1963–64 was £32, with an additional £40 for houses in multi-storey blocks.
