asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will pay an official visit to the shipbuilding yards on the Clyde.

I should like to make such a visit when this can be arranged. In my previous capacity I visited U.C.S. two months ago and on an earlier occasion the Lower Clyde Group. The shipbuilding industry is of course the Departmental responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Minister of Technology.
