Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Prime Minister whether he will make it a practice of his administration that Members of Parliament who write to Government Departments receive replies in less than three months from the date of the Member's letter, and within a short time when the information is available.

Ministers in charge of Departments will ensure that Members of Parliament receive replies with as much despatch as possible.
