Captain Kerby

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs in view of the advice given recently to British women by his representatives in Libya, namely, that they should submit to rape rather than be killed, what special instructions he has given in this context to Her Majesty's representatives in Lagos, in view of the present situation in Nigeria.

Mr. Luard
