HC Deb 30 January 1970 vol 794 c409W
Mrs. Anne Kerr

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity what was the total employable labour force in the constituency of Rochester and Chatham at the latest available date; how many were male and female; and how many were teenage, broken down into male and female.

Mr. Dell

At June, 1968, the estimated number of employees, employed and unemployed, in the area covered by the Chatham Employment Exchange was 73,200—49,300 males and 23,900 females. There is no age analysis of these figures.
