HC Deb 28 January 1970 vol 794 cc346-7W
68. Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the policy of the Israeli Government to extend trading relations with Great Britain, he will arrange to visit Israel during 1970 to discuss the possibilities of an increase in trade between Great Britain and Israel.

Mr. Mason

I have no plans at present for visiting Israel in 1970. Our trade with Israel has been expanding rapidly and our B.N.E.C. Committee for Israel, in co-operation with the embassy and the Board of Trade, has been most successful in its promotional efforts.
