§ Mr. MasonIn view of the decision to increase the board's export promotion work, and of the part which information and publicity should play in such work, I decided to strengthen the Department's information division. The position will be reviewed in the light of experience. The additional post has been filled by an unestablished officer of the appropriate rank, previously employed in the Department of Economic Affairs; his contract, at a fixed salary of £5,325 per annum, has been transferred to the Board of Trade.
