HC Deb 27 January 1970 vol 794 c324W
Mr. Charles Morrison

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will call for reports from chief constables on what steps they are taking to protect county cricket grounds following threats that attacks on them will continue.

Mr. Callaghan

I am in touch with chief officers of police, who are taking all reasonable precautions to prevent damage. I shall keep the situation under careful review.
