§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware of the growing tendency of narrow roads and streets to become virtually impassable due to two- and three-lane parking, and that this impedes the free flow of the public service vehicles such as those of fire, ambulance and police services; and what steps he intends taking during 1970 to alleviate this problem.
Mr. Bob BrownI would refer my hon. Friend to the answer I gave him on 11th November, 1969. My right hon. Friend would take appropriate action if this situation arose on a trunk road.—[Vol. 791; c.57.]
