Mr. Scott-Hopkins

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the cost of the contracts with civil airlines for the transport of service personnel to the Middle East and the Far East in January, February and March 1970.

There were no such contracts in January. There is one costing over £20,000 for movements to and from the Middle East in February. The position for March is not yet known.
