Mr. Ian Lloydasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will undertake in the next review of the pay structure for the nursing profession to investigate the series of anomalies which result in some circumstances in matrons and assistant matrons of public general hospitals receiving lower remuneration than members of their staff.
§ Mr. CrossmanThe Nurses and Midwives Whitley Council is aware of existing anomalies and will have an opportunity to consider them in the course of the current negotiations on nurses' pay.
