§ Dr. John DunwoodyAll pre-registration posts are designated by university authorities as providing appropriate training and experience for provisionally registered doctors. There are currently about 2,300 such posts in England and Wales, almost all of which are filled. According to provisional figures, 1,870 posts were filled by pre-registration doctors at 30th September, 1969, the
