§ Mr. FoleyHer Majesty's Government were represented at an international meeting in Washington last month which stressed the importance of a coordinated approach to the problem and the need for early conclusion of the new convention now being negotiated under the auspices of the International Civil Aviation Organisation. This should provide an effective framework for bringing hijackers to justice.
