§ Dame Joan Vickersasked the Minister of Public Building and Works for how long the redevelopment of the Royal Naval Barracks, H.M.S. "Drake", Devonport, will be delayed because of lack of steel.
§ Mr. John SilkinThe contract for the first stage of the redevelopment of H.M.S. "Drake" was let in December, 1969. Owing to the current shortage of steel reinforcement, a start on site has been delayed by two months from January to March, 1970. The contractor is using his best endeavours to minimise the effects of this delay.
