§ Mr. FowlerMy right hon. Friend has encouraged the provision in the training institutions of places for graduate and non-graduate mathematicians and scientists. He is conducting an advertising campaign designed to interest mathematics and science graduates in teaching as a career. The Department has contacts with university appointments 173W boards and has collaborated in running meetings at many universities designed to inform undergraduate and graduate scientists about modern methods of science teaching.
