§ Mr. DellWhen the Board's proposals, which I understand are expected to be finalised today, are submitted for my right hon. Friend's approval, all the relevant factors will be considered, including the views expressed by the industry.
§ Mr. Gordon Campbellasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity what is her estimate of the average increase in costs for electrical contractors in Scotland resulting from the present proposals of the Construction Industry Training Board to increase substantially the levy payable by them.
§ Mr. DellThe Board's present proposals represent an overall increase of about 40 per cent. in the annual levy demand from the industry as a whole. I am unable to estimate precisely the effect on electrical contractors in Scotland.
