§ 64. Mr. Roseasked the Minister of Transport whether he will introduce a marking order to require all motor tyres to be marked as either radial and cross-ply and as either tube or tubeless.
§ Mr. MurrayBritish made radial and tubeless tyres are now generally marked. The need for a statutory requirement to mark tyres is under consideration but should if possible await the outcome of discussions in the Economic Commission for Europe about international tyre standards including markings.
