asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will give, in regard to Part 2 of the Northumberland Committee Report on the outbreak of Foot-and-Mouth Disease in 1967–1968, details of (i) the recommendations which they have carried out; (ii) those which they propose to implement; and (iii) those which still remain under consideration.

There are 105 conclusions and recommendations in the Report and 99 have been wholly or substantially implemented or accepted. The present position is:—
