HC Deb 20 January 1970 vol 794 c110W
Sir E. Bullus

asked the President of the Board of Trade when he expects to receive the report of the investigation into the near-miss of aircraft flying over London Heathrow Airport on 9th January; and what steps he is taking to prevent such a happening occurring again.

Mr. Goronwy Roberts

I am informed by the Chief Inspector of Accidents that his investigation is proceeding satisfactorily but that it is as yet too early to say when his report will be made. In the meantime I am considering with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Defence whether there are any additional safeguards that might be introduced.
