The information requested is as follows:—

effects of supersonic flight over churches and buildings of historic and architectural interest; and what safeguards he proposes to introduce.

Mr. Carmichael

Research is continuing with a view to improving our knowledge of the existing vibration environments of buildings of historic and architectural interest and the possible long term effects of sonic booms. Our results to date suggest that no special safeguards are necessary in the case of properly maintained buildings of this kind.
