§ Mr. Oakesasked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications what steps he is taking to prevent pirate television broadcasting from aircraft.
§ Mr. StonehouseI have arranged for monitoring any such broadcasts and for identification of the aircraft and I have obtained assurances of co-operation from all European countries that might be used as a base. I have issued a public warning that the Marine Broadcasting (Offences) Act, 1967 would be strictly applied.
