asked the Minister of Technology what has been the total expenditure from public funds since 1964 on the Anglo-French variable geometry aircraft, A-300B and multi-role combat aircraft projects.

Anglo/French variable geometry aircraft—£2.25 million; MRCA—£6 million; A-300B—nil, but original A.300 design including RB 207 engine—£2.9 million (estimated).
