§ Mr. Hugh Jenkinsasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity if she will authorise the use of industrial training grants for degree-level students in technical colleges to learn to fly.
§ Mr. DellIt has not so far been the policy of the Civil Air Transport Industrial Training Board to grant aid flying training. It would be for the board to consider whether any change in this policy was desirable. The board has the power, subject to the approval of the First Secretary of State, to pay such grants as regards persons employed or intending to be employed in the industry.
